Today's Meeting

First meeting was kind of a bust. I., Squirrel and D. were there. No bismuth, no pyrolytic carbon. :( I. did bring a mixture of mineral oil and water to try out a diamagnetic water demonstration. The demo failed, likely because I. didn't follow the instructions (no rubbing alcohol, mineral rather than vegetable oil, etc.).

We will rally and forge toward diamagnetic amusements at our next meeting.

At this meeting we talked briefly about 70 or so topics. After our diamagnetic demonstrations, we will be working on a Brain in a Jar display / ornament. Note that I. already has a Growing Brain on-hand we could use.
